I have always been a people person & I’ve always loved photography. So when I told my friends and family I was going to leave the corporate world to be a photographer, no one was surprised. I grew up in a small bay town and if you’ve never taken a boat ride under moonlight, just after eating crabs, you’re missing a small wonder of life. I’m a hybrid shooter (digital & film) and believe the unique artistic feel achieved with medium format film is timeless and elegant. I travel as much as I possibly can and would rather buy a roundtrip ticket to a place I’ve never been, than pretty much anything else. I have a little rescue dog and he is the best travel buddy. I’m not kidding, he goes right to sleep on a plane. If I had to choose a place to live I’m torn between the San Juan Islands in WA or a tiny town off Lake Como. I love to cook, I do it just about every day and love Thai food. My first camera was a 35mm film camera and now I use 2 Nikon Z 7iis (yes I made the switch to mirrorless) and a medium format Pentax 645 Nii.
